Project Manager (based in the UK)

Mitnija, one of the largest construction companies in Lithuania, is developing and expanding its presence in the United Kingdom, and therefore invites professionals to join our team.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage personnel and resources for the project.
  • Assist with pre-construction efforts.
  • Manage all aspects of project from inception.
  • Plan and coordinate construction management.
  • Control project budget, perform cost control, change management, etc.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors (tendering procedures, contracts, etc.).
  • Maintain relationships with clients, designers and consultants.

Job Skills & Abilities:

  • At least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in executing construction projects of more than EUR 7 million.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong management skills and strong leadership qualities.
  • Great team player with strong decision making/problem solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation, time management and organizational skills.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize tendering procedures of subcontractors.
  • Analyze and evaluate costs of materials, products and subcontracting works based on technical/economical requirements of projects.
  • Prepare financial reports.
  • Prepare design/technical documents, perform its management and delivery to archive.

Job Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong experience in commercial manager position (project engineer).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, construction legislation and regulations, project preparation and implementation requirements.
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.

Senior Construction Manager (based in the UK)

We are looking for a responsible manager to oversee all personel management and project resource processes in a brand new construction project in the UK.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee subcontractors, labor and material requirements for the contract and support Project Manager with matters primarily relating to on site activities.
  • Manage construction operations on site:
  • Prepare work schedule and control its implementation.
  • Coordinate and control work of subcontractors.
  • Manage supply of materials and machinery, ensure its used efficiently.
  • Organize and coordinate work processes and procedures on site.
  • Ensure all works are carried out with statutory regulations, current standards and company quality assurance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of occupational and environmental safety on site.

Job Skills & Abilities:

  • Construction related qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager, preferably working at large scale international projects of more than EUR 7 million.
  • Management experience of multiple subcontractors and trade contractors.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
