The Eglių Terasos residential complex in Vilnius

In the fall of 2012, Mitnija finished construction of the Eglių Terasos complex in the Antakalnis district of Vilnius. Eglių Terasos is the first stage of the Antakalnio Terasos project, which is being developed by the MG Valda real estate development company.

In this district – one of the most prestigious in the capital – we have constructed eight buildings of four to six stories (with a total area of 10,800 sq. m), which contain 180 apartments and an underground parking lot of almost 7,000 sq. m..

Antakalnio terasos 03 - The Eglių Terasos residential complex in Vilnius

Designed by architect Algirdas Kaušpėdas, the residential complex stands out due to its unique architecture, modern technological solutions and focus on environmental protection.

For example, for the first time in the history of multi-unit residential construction in Lithuania, rainwater will be collected to maintain vegetation. Mitnija workers have equipped the property with special reservoirs that will store rainwater to be used later for irrigation. Until now, this solution had only been used in single-family homes.

Eglių Terasos also incorporates other environmentally friendly solutions. Natural, non-allergenic construction materials were used, and technological solutions that allow for effective conservation of electricity and thermal energy were installed.
