Designed by architect Algirdas Kaušpėdas, the residential complex stands out due to its unique architecture, modern technological solutions and focus on environmental protection.
For example, for the first time in the history of multi-unit residential construction in Lithuania, rainwater will be collected to maintain vegetation. Mitnija workers have equipped the property with special reservoirs that will store rainwater to be used later for irrigation. Until now, this solution had only been used in single-family homes.
Eglių Terasos also incorporates other environmentally friendly solutions. Natural, non-allergenic construction materials were used, and technological solutions that allow for effective conservation of electricity and thermal energy were installed.
